Things have been tough lately... We were starting to catch up and get a side stash of money set up just in case and then one morning when we let our dogs out to pee (they live inside cause we dont have a fence around our yard yet!) the neighbors cat, we believe was in our yard (cause it always is) and our dog chased it back into its own yard and our dog got ahold of it! Didnt kill it, but got it pretty good! The thing is, we usually watch the dogs out back cause we knew that there were cats in the neighborhood, but brian turned around for a second and then heard the neighbor lady screaming! He ran outside and she was saying something like, "get me a gun!" and yelling at brian cause apparently our dog "ate" her cat! First off, a dog cant just gobble down a cat and secondly, why is her cat outside? We dont have proof that her cat was in our yard and lured our dog over to their house, but with the fact that brian took his eyes off our dogs for about one minute shows that something had to lure our dog over there! Cause usually they will stay in the backyard... unless they have something lurring them out, like when my dad would come over and if we were out back with the dogs, they would try to run around front to jump up on him! Other than that, they knew they couldnt leave the backyard! Well anyways, the lady wanted to kill my dog cause she got ahold of her cat! The cat ran off and we all looked for it for hours... when we did find it BRIAN was the one that tried to get it out of a tree and when it jumped down from the tree and ran, the owners just watched the cat run off, they didnt try to catch it at all! I guess later that day the cat showed up in their garage and they took it to the vet... about $300 bucks later, their cat is okay! We paid the $300 because we couldnt prove that the cat was in our yard! Still to this day though, their cats, they have like 4 of them, roam the neighborhood and my yard on a daily basis! Its kinda irritating that we have to keep our dogs inside and on leashes when they are outside, yet she can just let her cats roam? What the hell? Since that all happened, we have taken MANY pictures proving that their cats are ALWAYS in our yard and once a fence goes up, if my dog gets their cat again, IM NOT PAYING FOR ANY VET BILLS!!! That $300 was part of our just in case fund, which we could definitely use right now! Brian hasnt been working much, so its hard at the moment to make ends meet with the income we do have coming in... Plus rumors have hit at my work that they might just lay off a few people cause we lost out on a big deal that was a HUGE part of our sales. If that hasnt made things even harder, last friday we got a letter in the mail. According to the city of Taylorsville, we have until May 21st to de-junk our yard! First off, I must say, we dont have the prettiest yard at the time being... BUT its a huge step up from what it was like when we moved in! The lady that lived here before us, left TONS of JUNK, so much that we are still sorting through it! Since we moved in this house we have had a ton to do to it and we just havent had the time to do the other things that we have intended... Brian has two trucks that he intends to fix one up and use the other for parts until one is in good condition, then he will scrap the other one... those are his "babies" we just havent had the extra time to fix them at all though! So right now they are sitting on the side of our house, yes on the grass (ugh)... which one day we plan on cementing, but they are sitting there on the side of the house! Its just so frustrating sometimes though cause we have all these things that we planned on doing to make our yard and our house better but then life happens and we end up having to use our saved money for something that came up... like my neighbors stupid cats vet bills! Ugh.... So now, we are met with these deadlines that we have to have two trucks either registered and parked on the driveway or gone as well as a rusted old swinging lawn chair that was left here for us to deal with (ugh), and an old go-cart frame! On top of that we have to put up a fence in the very near future because we have a pond and a trampoline in our backyard and the neighbors dont watch their kids very well (they are the ones that let their cats roam the neighborhood as well) and they often wonder off into our yard, which Im worried that they are gonna end up in my yard, hurt! Ugh... plus we have to put up a fence because at the moment our dogs are living in our house, Im allergic to them, :( and they are ruining my walls and floor in the basement... And my house is starting to stink cause one of them for some dumb reason refuses to potty outside! ugh! PLUS... this house didnt have a pantry, so brian built one which is almost done but not quite... so we have our whole garage torn apart with all of our stuff and all the junk the previous owner left behind! Cant I send her a bill for having to remove her junk from the property? I mean seriously? This house has been one thing after another since we moved in... In the almost 11 months that we have lived here we have replaced a main side entry door, a water heater, pulled out 2 rose bushes, 2 dead trees, put on a new roof and installed a pantry and we still have a ton more to do in less than two weeks just to make the city of taylorsville happy... even though half of our bills say we live in west jordan and the other half say we live in taylorsville! Ugh!!! Im just a little irritated right now! Time for my workout! Hope it gets rid of some of this stress~
